Unipol and unions move towards CCNL and CIA renewal

On Thursday, November 27, the union representatives met with Unipol’s Human Resources and Industrial Relations executives to review the current situation ahead of upcoming key contractual discussions. During the meeting, held in a climate of mutual respect and transparency, the company reaffirmed its intention to actively participate in the negotiations for the renewal of the national insurance collective agreement (CCNL), which is considered a priority.

From the union’s perspective, emphasizing the importance of a swift and positive renewal of the CCNL, as demonstrated by the participation of thousands of Unipol employees in assemblies over recent months, the active involvement of Unipol within the ANIA delegation is welcomed. This participation represents a significant factor, particularly given the current complexity of the sector and the fact that, as is well known, Unipol is not formally affiliated with ANIA.

Similarly, the company confirmed its willingness to initiate negotiations for the full renewal of the second-level agreement (C.I.A.), adhering to timelines and procedures consistent with the outcomes of the national contract renewal. In this regard, a meeting between the parties has already been scheduled at Unipol in January, aimed at examining the so-called interdependencies between the two levels of bargaining, following the national-level meetings for the CCNL scheduled for December 1 and January 8, 2026.

Building on this framework, the union delegations reported that work on drafting the renewal platform for the Group CIA is nearing completion. It is expected to be presented at the beginning of 2026 for approval by employees through a series of local assemblies scheduled across the territory.
