The connection between Italy and the United States is being reinforced under the banner of technology and Venture Capital. Italian Tech Alliance, the leading association for the innovation ecosystem in Italy, has launched a high-profile institutional mission to the USA. The objective is clear: to consolidate transatlantic dialogue, foster strategic partnerships, and unlock new bilateral investment opportunities to support high-potential tech companies ready for the global market.
The journey began in Connecticut, one of the most economically significant states in the U.S., with a meeting in Stamford involving approximately forty local operators. The mission then moved into full swing with participation in the Yale Innovation Summit, a world-renowned event that in its latest edition drew over 2,400 participants from across the globe, confirming its status as a fundamental hub for networking between investment funds and innovative companies.
The centerpiece of the initiative is scheduled to take place in New York at the prestigious JPMorganChase Tower for the Italy and US Venture Capital Gathering. Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, leading figures from the Italian and U.S. Venture Capital markets will discuss emerging trends and Physical AI. In this setting, four premier startups – AllSides, BionIT Labs, Cloud4Wi, and Lab-go – will share their concrete stories of international growth, representing the evolution and maturity of the Italian ecosystem.
Francesco Cerruti, General Manager of Italian Tech Alliance, emphasized the importance of this direct engagement to accelerate growth paths and facilitate access to capital and expertise. In a complex historical moment for international relations, Cerruti highlights how innovation has become a fundamental common language for economic and social development between countries sharing the same growth trajectories.
Founded in 2019, Italian Tech Alliance currently stands as a pillar for Italy’s innovation economy, with over 80 investor members managing assets exceeding 4 billion euros. Through these international missions, the association continues to work toward ensuring that innovative startups and SMEs can contribute significantly to the country’s growth, positioning Italy as an authoritative and competitive interlocutor on the global stage.
