VITO GAMBERALE’S PROFESSIONAL PATH

 

Vito Gamberale is a professional with many years of experience behind that crossed different area of expertise and put his skills in the service of his companies.
Born on 1944, He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of La Sapienza University of Rome in 1968.
His first work was in a company controlled by the Eni Group which He left when IMI – Istituto Mobiliare Italiano hired him as an industrial analyst.
From 1984 to 1991 he came back to Eni where He was President and Chief Executive Officer of several companies of the Group.
In the 90’s his contribution has been essential for the development of mobile telephone systems in Italy.

 

VITO GAMBERALE: FROM 21 INVESTIMENTI TO F2i

 

At the end of 90’s Vito Gamberale joined 21 Investimenti, where He was appointed Vice President of the fund that belongs to Benetton family.
From 2000 to 2006, He ruled Autostrade and, after the privatization, He transformed the Group into a multinational.
On January 2007 Vito Gamberale eventually created F2i, the first private Italian fund in infrastructure area.
The same year Torre Vergata University of Rome awarded him with Laurea Honoris Causa in Telecommunications Engineering.
