Roberto Casula
Ingegnere e manager di origini cagliaritane, Roberto Casula è Chief Development, Operations & Technology Officer di Eni S.p.A. dal 2014. Operativo nel colosso energetico dalla fine degli anni ’90, ha collaborato in precedenza per circa un decennio con Agip, società per la quale ha svolto l’incarico di ingegnere di giacimento sino al 1991. Dopo la breve parentesi come Reservoir Engineer in Beicip – Franlab a Sophia Antipolis, viene chiamato a ricoprire il medesimo ruolo per Agip Angola Ltd. Trascorsi tre anni, torna in Italia per approdare in Eni S.p.A., per la quale è nominato Development and Production Coordinator. Ha inizio in questo momento il sodalizio professionale con il Cane a sei zampe, dove assumerà negli anni successivi incarichi di sempre maggior rilievo. Agli inizi del nuovo millennio Roberto Casula inizia a occuparsi delle operazioni in Asia e Africa Occidentale, per poi passare al progetto in Iran “Giant South Pars Gas fasi 4-5”, del cui sviluppo è responsabile in qualità di Project Director. Dal 2004 Managing Director della società Eni Mediterranea, l’anno seguente entra in Eni Nord Africa BV, società all’interno della quale viene investito della medesima carica. Dalla sede di Tripoli, Libia, coordina le attività del Gruppo nel Paese. Senior Vice President per l’area della Regione Sub-Sahariana dal 2007, e poi Presidente, si occupa sino al 2011 delle tre consociate di Eni presenti in Nigeria: N.A.O.C. Ltd, N.A.E. Ltd., A.E.N.R. Ltd. Nominato alla fine di questo periodo Executive Vice President, assume nel 2014 l’attuale incarico di Chief Development, Operations & Technology Officer. Laureato in Ingegneria Mineraria, titolo conseguito presso l’Università degli Studi di Cagliari, Roberto Casula è nato nel 1962.

Manager and engineer born in Cagliari, Roberto Casula is Chief Development, Operation & Technology at Eni S.p.A, since 2014. Working for the Italian energy giant since the end of 90s, he collaborated for about ten years with Agip S.p.A, operating as Reservoir Energy until 1991. After the brief period employed as Resevoir Engineer in Beicip-Franlab in Sophia Antipolis, he had the same role at the subsidiary Agip Angola Ltd. Three years later, Roberto Casula returned to Italy where he worked at Eni’s Headquarter as Development and Production Coordinator: he was in charge of coordinating the operating and business activities of the Countries. In those years he started his long career at Eni, where he developed and improved his managerial skills, playing some prestigious roles. In 2000 he started dealing with the operations in Asia and West Africa and then he moved to Tehran to lead a giant gas production Project as Director. Elected Chief Managing Director of Eni Mediterranea in 2004, he joined Eni Nord Africa BV the year after, coordinating for all operations from Tripoli. In 2007 he was appointed Senior Vice President of the Subsaharian area, spending the following years leading the three Eni’s subsidiaries in Nigeria as Chairmain. In 2011 he became Executive Vice President of Eni Exploration & Production and in July 2014 he went back to Italy as Chief Development Operation & Technology Officer. Roberto Casula was born in 1962 and he graduated in Mining Engineer at the University of Cagliari.
